Q: What is a Frozen Beverage Machine?
A: A Frozen Beverage Machine is
similar to a slush machine like you would see in any convenience store.
It is very easy to use and makes a perfect slush unlike your typical
household blender that occasionally has some chunky ice. No need to add
ice because the machine makes its own slush.

Q: How much does it cost to rent a margarita machine from B-Bop Margaritas?
A: We have several packages available. Check them out here. This includes delivery and pick-up (in most areas), your first mix concentrate, use of our 5 gallon pre-measured mixing buckets, 50 cups & 50 straws. Extra mix is $15.00 per bottle (batch). Q: Are the machines easy to use?
A: Yes, and at delivery, each easy step of machine operation and refilling procedures are covered verbally by our associates to ensure a successful event. We supervise you as you mix your first batch Easy to follow instructions are always left with you for reference and you can always call us if you have any questions. NO ICE NEEDED! Q: How many drinks does one batch yield?
A: One batch of margaritas makes about 75-eight ounce drinks. Pina Colada mix makes about 55-eight ounce drinks. The single bowl machine will hold about one whole batch. Our experience shows that usually half or more guests drink the frozen drinks even if you offer a choice. We recommend one batch for every 25 frozen beverage drinkers. Extra frozen drink mix is $15.00 and is refundable if unopened.

Q: How long does the first batch take to freeze?
A: For our single bowl machines Indoors about 45 to 60 minutes, outside on warm days, up to one and a half hours. There is no waiting between batches because you add to the top reservoir when mix-low light comes on. If you can pre chill your alcohol and water it will speed up the freeze time in all of our machines. The double bowl machines do require a little longer to freeze especially in a warm environment or in sunlight. The double bowl machine is really ideal for use indoors. (Return to Question List)
Q: Who provides the liquor and how much will I need?
A: The customer provides all liquor. A medium strength batch of margaritas calls for 1.75-2.75 liters tequila. See our Recipe page for more details. (Return to Question List)
Q: Are other kinds of drinks available besides Margaritas?
A: Absolutely. You can serve Strawberry Daiquiris, Strawberry Margaritas, Rum Runners, Pina Colada, Louisiana Hurricanes, Peach Bellini's and Mai Tai's. All mixes can be made without alcohol FOR KIDS! See our Flavors page for the complete list. (Return to Question List)

Q: How far in advance should I reserve my machine?
A: We recommend two weeks and longer for holiday seasons and traditional party dates like Halloween, New Years Eve and Mardi Gras. One single bowl machine will deliver frozen drinks for up to 65 frozen beverage drinkers. Q: What do I do with my leftover mix?
A. Unopened mixes may be returned for a full refund. If you have mix you have opened you can go ahead and make it up and freeze it, then bag it. You need to provide your own containers or bags for this. (Return to Question List)
Q: Can I use the machine outside?
A: Yes. Our machines can accommodate your outside event as well as indoor ones. However, in summer months, you may experience longer freezing times with outdoor use. Outdoor freeze times will vary depending on the temperature & humidity especially with the dual bowl machines. The dual bowl machines are well suited to extreme heat or direct sunlight. Q: Can I use my own extension cord?
A: No. These machines need the proper cord to function properly. If a cord is needed we will supply it. The machine must be within about 25 ft of the outlet that is to be used. (Return to Question List)
Q: What
if I run out of mix and have not purchased additional mixes to use?
Can I pour in "over the counter" mixes and get the same effect?
A: We will always leave one more mix than what you order. Adding any other product other than that which is specified in the Rental Agreement, will constitute a breech of contract. B-Bop Margaritas will hold you liable for any damage caused by foreign products added to our machines. Please use formulated mixes purchased through B-Bop Margaritas only. We will be happy to leave extra mixes as long as we have a credit card on file for you. (Return to Question List)
Q: What if I still have product in the machine at time of pickup?
A: The product in the machine has been paid for by you and therefore, is yours. Upon pickup, if you have left over product, you may dispense any in containers of your choice. You can Bag up any leftovers, just put in a freezer lock bag and have a Margarita any time after the party is long over. However, B-Bop Margaritas will not provide such containers and you may not use the mixing jug we have issued to the rental machine. (Return to Question List)

Anything else I need to know?
Make sure to let us know how accessible the delivery/pick-up location is. We normally do not do stairs. Please explain the situation to us and we will make the final decision. Q: Am I responsible for any damage done to the machine while I have it?
A: Yes, in most all cases. Once we put the machine in place and check it for function you are required to sign off that everything is good. You should check the machine for any obvious damage and note it when you sign. If we are aware of any damage it will already be noted. If something happens during your event to damage the machine call us immediately. It does not matter what time you call if it is an emergency.
